BEAUTIFICATION COMMUNITY ACTION TEAM

A clean and beautiful neighborhood is an important building block for civic pride.
It improves property values and gives a good impression. When others see a
well-kept community they want to keep coming back.

The Property Pride Award

Beautifully manicured property is a compliment to the occupants and an asset to the entire
community. We've found a way to show appreciation for the hard work involved in keeping
up appearances.

Each Season the team nominates several properties from various sections of Price Hill. After
all the nominations are in, the team views each nominee and selects the most outstanding to
recieve the seasonal Property Pride Award.

The winner receives a personalized certificate, a yard sign to display and is featured in the
Price Hill Press.

Beautification in Public Places

We work together with other community organizations and volunteers to turn drab areas into
places that will showcase the loveliness of nature. Past projects include landscaping at
nursing homes, parks and other public areas, and streetscaping. We annually participate in
The Great American Clean-up (beautification componet) Fall ReLeaf Program, spring annual
plantings, and fall bulb plantings.
