Concerts in the Square

Concerts in the Square is a free summer concert series hosted in St. Lawrence Square. Every other Friday, we offer free community concerts featuring Price Hill-affiliated musicians. St. Lawrence Square was created to increase visitors to the heart of the Warsaw Ave. Neighborhood Business District. By hosting a concert series in this park, we create the eye-catching and welcoming landmark that the community imagined when they were planning the square.

Let’s Get Physical! Fitness Series

Let’s Get Physical! is a free, summer fitness series created by Price Hill Will in 2016 as a way to activate the newly designed pocket park, St. Lawrence Square, in the Warsaw Avenue Neighborhood Business District of East Price Hill, and to foster healthy living and physical activity in the neighborhood. Over the last two years, the series has grown exponentially; some of our classes run year round, we have expanded to multiple locations, and we have extended our class offerings to include Latin dance and meditation.

The Let’s Get Physical! fitness series creates weekly, free exercise classes led by trained instructors to foster healthy living and physical activity in the Price Hill neighborhoods. Classes are tailored to appeal to people who live in the area and who may already be using the host locations for other purposes. The program removes the cost and location barriers that often impact our residents, making these classes accessible and affordable for all. There are classes available in various locations every day of the week throughout Price Hill.

Garden GetTogethers

Every Thursday from 4-8pm at the Beech Avenue Community Garden we host Garden GetTogethers. We help each other care for the communal gardening areas, work on personal gardening projects, share in harvests and celebrate with games, snacks and music. Everyone’s welcome! Seeds and tools are supplied, come plant a pumpkin or just hang out! In late July we have tomatoes, leeks, and peppers ready for harvest and we’re starting some fall crops.

Price Hill Creative Community Festival

The Price Hill Creative Community Festival is a free performing arts and neighborhood festival that uses arts as a way to build a diverse and inclusive community. The festival brings internationally-renowned artists together with the musicians of MYCincinnati (Price Hill Will’s free youth orchestra program) to create totally unique and unforgettable performances. Performances take place over 4 venues across East Price Hill: The Warsaw Avenue Firehouse, the Price Hill Recreation Center, the Warsaw Room, and LISH Gallery.

Learn, Create, Celebrate Event Series

This event series consists of three celebrations, inspired by Hispanic culture and holidays: Día de los Muertos in October, Las Posadas in December, and Las Alfombras in April. Each event has three aspects:

  • Learn – an opportunity to learn about a cultural tradition from another country
  • Create – the opportunity to create a work of art
  • Celebrate – a party where residents can gather to celebrate their culture, art, and community
