• Make it an All-Star Summer! Concert in the Square music series continues…

If you attended the first concert of our Concerts in the Square Summer music series, then you know that it was full of great music, sunny weather, blowing bubbles, endless laughter, and warm company. There were kids running around, throwing the ball to their siblings in a game of keep-away, hula-hooping with My Nose Turns Red Youth Circus, and guest’s bodies were outlined on paper in a quick and easy anatomy lesson with the Cincinnati Museum Center. It’s Just Science showed off with some experiments and mind games, while Hannah’s Henna offered intricate and detailed hand henna. With all the vendors – there was a ton to do and see, while listening to the smooth jams provided by our very own locals, Cookin’ Hearts. Cookin’ Hearts is an alternative folk band based right here in Cincinnati, Ohio. The quartet showed us what true folk music sounds like, and let’s just say we loved every minute and screamed for an encore twice!

Up next in the series is Comet Bluegrass All-Stars on June 16th. The band was first assembled as the Sunday night house band at The Comet, a pub in Northside, Cincinnati, and since then they have opened for big acts like Sam Bush, Blue Highway, Del McCoury, Peter Rowan, and Ricky Skaggs. So… are you ready for some banjo?

Join us again in St. Lawrence Square for some Summer fun with your Price Hill community. Bring the whole family and your neighbors too! We recommend packing a blanket or chair, and extra cash to buy snacks.
