Free Arts Events

Price Hill Will has launched the Fall and Winter 2024 season of its Arts@ARCO program, which is hosted at its community and arts venue, ARCO, located at 3301 Price Avenue in East Price Hill. Arts@ARCO is dedicated to making the arts accessible, diverse, and inspiring through a series of free events hosted by local artists.

This season, the theme of Uniting our Stories with the Arts is explored through six new events, including Viola Vibes, which kicked off the season in mid-August with MYCincinnati Youth Orchestra alum Trinity Thrasher joining other young musicians to explore classical instrumentations of popular songs in the West. Upcoming events in the series include:

  • Broadway Dance Party September 8th, 11am: Cincinnati actor and dancer Genevieve Perrino leads this fun musical theater dance class where Broadway fans of all ages and experiences use the skills they learn to perform a special number.

  • The Green Moon: Poetry in Motion October 4th, 5pm (date subject to change): Cincinnati dancer Gabo Martinez explores the stories of Mexican Poet Fredrico Garcia through English and Spanish storytelling, music, dance, and shadow puppetry. A shadow puppetry workshop for people of all ages will follow the performance.

  • Superhero Multiverse Unite October 26th, 12-5pm: The Ten Realms hosts this unique fan party event where lovers of superhero comic books, movies, games, and cosplay gather to enjoy a mix of it all.

  • Tomás and the Library Lady November 2nd, 10am: Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park explores the story of a boy – the son of migrant farm workers – meeting a librarian who introduces him to the wonderful world of books. This story is based on the book by Pat Mora and will feature English and Spanish.

  • Family Movie Day December 7th, 12:30pm: Families wearing their favorite pajamas get warm and cozy with cookies and hot chocolate while enjoying the animated film and holiday classic, Polar Express.

Free parking, refreshments, and a sensory room for quiet relaxation will be available at all Arts@ARCO events, which are made possible by support from the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati, the generosity of tens of thousands of contributors to the annual ArtsWave Campaign – the region's primary source for arts funding – and in part by state tax dollars allocated by the Ohio Legislature to the Ohio Arts Council (OAC). The OAC is a state agency that funds and supports quality arts experiences to strengthen Ohio communities culturally, educationally, and economically.
