The Incline Run is a shared-use trail connecting the neighborhoods of Lower and East Price Hill. The 550’ long pathway was a closed section of Maryland Avenue and in a state of disrepair for more than 30 years severing a vital physical and social connection between the neighborhoods.
We – with help from the Devou Good Foundation, City of Cincinnati’s Safe & Clean Neighborhood Fund, the Ohio Arts Council ArtSTART grant, Home Depot Western Hills, HomeBase Mini Neighborhood Activation grant, Sisters of Charity S. Elise grant, and neighborhood groups, resident and councils – have been curating and overseeing multiple placemaking and art initiatives along the pathway.

To commemorate the FINAL batch of art installations, we plan to hold a community celebration on Thursday, October 6th from 2 to 4:30pm at Incline Run (2570 Maryland Ave). On-street parking for the event can be found at the North end of Maryland Avenue or on Mt. Hope Avenue. The event will begin with a short program followed by an open house with art activities, food, and drink.
