Betania Canas is a Venezuelan flutist, recording artist, and music educator. Ms Canas grew up in the celebrated non-profit institution “El Sistema”, where she served as principal flutist in different symphony orchestras for about ten years. She earned her Bachelor in Flute Performance at Andrews University and is currently pursuing a Master in Flute Performance at the University of Cincinnati.

She strongly believes in the transformative power of the arts and advocates for accessible education to create a more just and prosperous future, where every young person has the chance to thrive and contribute their talents to the world.

During her free time, Betania likes to explore the creative endeavors of improvisation, popular music, and dance.
